Canoers
 Canoeing the south branch of the AuSable river is a treat for the beginner or the advanced canoeist. This stretch of the river is world famous for its trout fishing as well. Anglers from all over the world come to try their skills at landing a fish. The river flows at a four to five mile per hour pace at normal river levels. The most popular time to do a canoe float is from late April to late October, mid-summer being the busiest time.
If you are looking for a more peaceful float, Sunday thru Friday is the best time to see more wildlife and to enjoy the northern Michigan woods. 
We offer trips on the river that range in length from 1-1/2 hours to a 6-day adventure to Lake Huron. We supply paddles, seat cushions and Coast Guard approved life jackets. We also give you a free pick up ride back to your vehicle.
There is also a wide selection of kayaks to choose from for rental use. We have tandem and single place kayaks for every type of adventure.
No refunds for inclement weather. The fun continues rain or shine!
